• Spudger or plastic opening tool

Step 1: Remove the Bottom Case.
Use the pentalobe screwdriver to remove the screws securing the bottom case.
Carefully lift the bottom case away from the MacBook Pro, starting at the hinge and working your way forward.
Step 2: Disconnect the Battery
Locate the battery connector on the logic board.
Use a spudger or screwdriver to gently pry the battery connector up from its socket, disconnecting the battery from the logic board.
Step 3: Remove the Old Battery
Depending on your model, you may need to remove additional screws or adhesive strips holding the battery in place.
Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove any securing screws.
If adhesive is present, carefully apply a small amount of adhesive remover or use plastic cards to gently lift the battery.
